Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
With Newtron VMI, you can easily and sustainably optimize your warehouse management through permanent inventory updating, thus saving time and costs.
Through automation, you can easily streamline and optimize your warehouse processes. Regular suppliers gain insight into inventory and requirements planning for materials for which you are responsible. Coordinated inventory limits are used to manage and control ordering processes on the part of the supplier. Additional reminder and escalation processes as well as optional approval processes increase security.
Customer Managed Inventory (CMI)
Newtron CMI enables purchasing companies to manage inventory for their own warehouses. The CMI solution creates automated order suggestions for inventory replenishment (analogous to the VMI process).
The basis for this is the relevant MRP data (minimum stock, maximum stock, etc.). The order suggestions are created on the basis of the stored inventory parameters (e.g. once per night) via a warehouse location matrix with corresponding warehouse/article nodes.
Warehouse Requisition
Warehouse requisitions are initiated in the catalog/eProcure system via a split mechanism so that items/materials to be ordered are assigned to the appropriate warehouse in each case.
This means that internal stock items can also be ordered and called off.
